Primošten is situated in the south, between the cities of Šibenik and Trogir. Set upon a little island, linked by a bridge to the mainland, with stone houses and narrow lanes in Mediterranean style, with many bays, islets and peninsulas, it is a most attractive an small town. It is built on a hill and is dominated by the parish church of St. George. It is teeming with small souvenir shops scattered around the narrow cobbled streets, and in the summertime the atmosphere is full of activity. Primošten is also well-known for its production of olive oil and wine.
